Each of the iconic women to the below represent a part of what has become my style. I was definitely influenced by growing up in London in the 1970's and witnessing the birth of punk rock. I was fortunate to start my career at a time when music and fashion were really changing - it gave me a chance to be creative, try different things and really find my own style. My work is a complete mix of punk, glamour and femininity. I love to take a classic look and play with it until it becomes my own. I draw inspiration from many different sources: art, travel, old photography books, images of iconic beauties or people on the street. I have lived and worked in London, Paris and Milan, but New York, the place that I've called home for over half a decade, has been one of the most influential. The goal of this blog is not only to share my sources of inspiration, but hopefully to learn about what inspires others as well.
